I am working wealth. This is worth all the late nights in the library poring over mind-numbing readings and programming codes.

The Metropolitan Museum is undoubtedly one of the largest museums in the world, with exhibits from nearly every known civilization and works from all the major art movements. I came out from the museum feeling physically tired from all the walking, drained from looking at one exhibit after another and regretting that I had not done more planning. The Impressionist collection impressed me the most, particularly their collection of Monet-s. On hindsight, I should have just focused on the paintings instead of trying to cover the entire museum.

This was a nice surprise. I was milling around Madison Avenue waiting for my friends to come back to the apartment when I stumbled upon the Morgan Library and Museum. It has an impressive little collection that includes a copy of the Gutenberg Bible and several musical scores handwritten by Mozart. There was something very Godfather about his office; more than the prosperity of the House of Morgan, it conjures grand notion of ‘magnate’ and ‘titan’.
